Our Cupcake Story

Cupcake Castle began with an idea from Reya, the owner. She has been interested in baking since a very early age, and she has always cared about the love and welfare of animals.

Sri and Rick, her two employees, decided to help her set up a business where she could make cupcakes for fun, share her creativity, and donate a chunk of the profits to her favorite animal welfare organizations: the Valley Humane Society in Pleasanton and the SPCA in Dublin, California.

Why Cupcake Castle is special

What Makes Us Unique

  1. ① Fresh, straight from our oven

We bake on Saturday—Friday is for assembling the week’s orders, planning, and shopping—and you pick up your cupcakes on Sunday, fresh.

  2. ② Four new flavors every week

Every week brings four brand-new cupcake creations, so there is always something new to try.

  3. ③ Build your own cupcake

You can build your own cupcake and place a custom order, exactly the way you like it.

  4. ④ A nine-year-old’s big dream

Cupcake Castle is a business venture of a nine-year-old, with the intent to share profits with her favorite animal welfare organizations: the Valley Humane Society in Pleasanton and the SPCA in Dublin, California. We will have absolute clarity and openness, and show that the profits are actually being donated.

Welcome to the madhouse

Meet the Team

Three humans, one dog, one tiny kitchen, zero quiet days.

Cartoon portrait of Reya

Reya

Owner, boss, head of the castle

Tough boss, high standards, counted sprinkles. Nothing is “done” until Reya says so.

Cartoon portrait of Sri

Sri

Master baker

One task at a time, done beautifully. Ask her to juggle two and the tray is history.

Cartoon portrait of Rick

Rick

Odd jobs, many hats

Certified superstar. Demands perfection, invents frosting experiments, and delivers the chaos.

Cartoon portrait of Kirby the poodle

Kirby

Reya’s dog, Cupcake Castle mascot

Our mascot and head of quality control. No business plans, no missed cupcakes.

Hand-picked by the boss herself

Reya’s Signature Friends

These are Reya’s favorite characters — the royal court of Cupcake Castle. Each one guards a cupcake, and each one has a story.

Peachy Axolotl, a pink axolotl in a pearl bow holding a cupcake

Peachy Axolotl

The Pink Axolotl

Ruler of the candy kingdom. Her pearl bow is older than the castle itself, and she has never once shared her cupcake. Not once.

Prince Emerald Mint, a mint-green dragon hugging a mint chocolate chip cupcake

Prince Emerald Mint

The Little Dragon

Breathes fire exactly once a day — to toast the marshmallows. His mint-chip cupcake is guarded by actual dragon law.

Twilight Dawn, a purple bat in a starry hoodie holding a blueberry cupcake

Twilight Dawn

The Midnight Bat

Only appears after dark, wearing the night sky as a hoodie. Taste-tests every blueberry cupcake before anyone else is awake.

Cotton Candy, a red panda in a rainbow sash holding a cherry cupcake

Cotton Candy

The Red Panda

The castle's official sprinkle inspector. Wears a rainbow sash of honor and takes the cherry on top very, very seriously.

Berry Heart, a white bunny in a tiara holding a strawberry cupcake

Berry Heart

The Bunny

Can hop the length of the kitchen in two bounces. Her strawberry cupcake has a name, but she is not telling you what it is.

Flower Forest, a fawn in a flower crown holding a cherry cupcake

Flower Forest

The Little Fawn

Grows flowers in her crown and crumbs on her nose. She waters the garden every morning and the frosting bowl every afternoon.

Sienna Seashell, an otter in a seashell crown holding a cupcake

Sienna Seashell

The Otter

Sailed in from the pond wearing pearls and a seashell crown. Insists every cupcake is a treasure chest. She is not wrong.

Prince Chocolate, a capybara in a royal cape holding a chocolate cupcake

Prince Chocolate

The Capybara

The calmest knight in the castle. Nothing rattles him — not the chaos, not the oven timer, not Kirby. Especially not Kirby.

Cookie Cream, a panda in a cookie crown holding a cookies and cream cupcake

Cookie Cream

The Panda

Rules the cookie-crumb empire from a throne of bamboo. His crown is made of cookies. He has eaten three crowns so far.

Berry Blue, a cream cat in a blueberry hat holding a blueberry cupcake

Berry Blue

The Cat

Winks at every customer who walks in. Her blueberry hat is considered high fashion in at least four imaginary countries.
